  I usually go to Banfield in San Carlos but wasn’t able to get a spot so took my 15 year old Chihuahua to the Mountain View location. The staff at Mountain View was very kind and gentle with my geriatric pup and even asked about the best way she liked to be handled. Pro tips: During Covid they’re only doing drop off appointments, but the staff was very flexible with pickup times. This particular location is also moving early 2022 to a building outside of a Petsmart.

  Great PetSmart. The staff at both PetSmart and Banfield are super nice and really make coming here a pleasure.

  They were amazing and so caring. We had to put my 13 year old dog down. I had already been crying for a few hours, but they were so gentle with her, and with our feelings. We knew going in that it was going to be our final goodbye. They walked through everything step by step, made sure we knew what would happen and answered our questions. They gave us much time as we needed with her after and did not rush us out. When we get a new dog, in time, we will definitely be going back here.

  Awesome pediatric dentist. I highly recommend bringing your children here! The staff was amazing and super friendly. The office was clean, even my 4 year old said “wow it’s clean in here” the dentist was great, very personable, she spoke with me the entire time and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Both my kids got to “ring the bell” because they have no cavities, which they thought was so fun! I’m so happy we found young smiles!

  I've been taking my Daughter to this practice since her first dental appointment (about 9 years). What I really like about this practice is from the first appointment to the latest appointment 9 years later, the service has never changed. It's apparent how much Dr. Young truly cares about her patients and her business.
  She is caring and patient with the children (and the parents). She takes the time to explain everything in detail from what, if any, treatment is needed and why it's needed to the billing aspects of the treatment.
  She celebrates with the children their successes for achieving "no cavities". It's clear that Dr. Young goes out of her way to ensure all parties are fully informed and comfortable on the treatment decisions.
  
  Additionally, I'd like to add that my Daughter suffers from extreme anxiety. Having serious dental/orthodontia issues, she has had to endure some rather unpleasant procedures. When I advised Dr. Young of the situation she went out of her way to make certain she communicated clearly to my child ways to ensure she could let the staff know if she was experiencing any discomfort or anxiety during treatment. Her chart was marked accordingly and she is handled/addressed very delicately which makes a huge difference in her experience.
  Dr. Young also discussed additional sedation options with me that could be conducted during treatment to ensure my child was at ease.
  I received two follow up calls after treatment. One on the day of treatment from the office staff to check in and make certain my child was feeling okay. The second from Dr. Young herself to confirm there were no issues or any pain.
  It's treatment like this - where a Dr or their staff goes the extra mile that ensures loyal patrons because this is rare indeed. I'm truly blessed my Daughter has such an amazing and caring dentist.

  My kids have been going here for several years with no complaints. They looked forward to their appointments at Young Smiles. At the beginning of the year or late 2019, we scheduled the kids an appointment for a checkup in May. Days before the May checkup we received a call from Young Smiles advising us that they needed to reschedule the appointment to June. No problem. Now, days before the June appointment, I get a call from Young Smiles advising me that they stopped accepting our insurance at the beginning of the year. This is extremely disappointing. Although the insurance policies that you accept may change daily, there were many opportunities to inform us of this so that we could plan accordingly. We received no referral or additional guidance. Just, “sorry we don’t accept your insurance anymore.”
  
  * Edit - I would like to thank the owner at Young Smiles for reaching out to me to ensure that my family was being taken care of. I would also like to thank the staff for providing excellent services to my kids as they always have. We hope to return in the future. Again, thank you.

  My two and a half year old just had his first dental experience here this morning. The staff was so extremely helpful and personable! They have such a gentle approach and Dr. Young explained everything so well and made me feel very comfortable. Definitely an amazing first experience!!

  We had a wonderful experience this morning with Dr. Young and her staff! We were promptly greeted and my four year old was comfortable and well taken care of. Super thankful for the amazing staff at this dentist! Can’t wait to return in December!
