Love, learning and God based church that all ages would be excited to attend. The devotion service is such a blessing. The pastor indeed knows his word!

I have become a new person in that I am TRULY seeking God’s word every morning. Through Pastor Jomo’s teachings I am delighted and encouraged to add and promote recalling scriptures into my daily routine. Like today for instance:
Prayer Life book Chapter 58 page 307-309. The format of it is just the type of assistance one needs in supplication of the word to the mind and spirit. I can attest to the fact that God covers me, His "Word" tells me this. I go to Jesus who is my strength and source of deliverance. He avails me, He speaks on my behalf. His actions tell me this everyday, I am reminded of his Love and dedication over my life with even the tiniest hints (a sudden smile from someone or a kind gesture, even my favorite color depicted in a weed or flower as I walk along a path).
Lord.. Jesus I spoke to you when I needed help getting nearer to you and you spoke to my heart and spirit and introduced me to Dr. Jomo Cousins and the Prayer Life. In his words, "My life will never be the same after hearing and doing the Living Word Of God".

I was so please with this church here! Pastor Jomo is so down to earth and real! What I like most about this church besides the 45 min sermons is the fact that I visited the church and a staff member called me a few days later, just to check up on me and see how I was doing! We literally talked for about 15 mins and it felt GOOD!!! Even though I belong to another church home I will visit this church often! Please continue to do GREAT things!!!!

I will admit, I usually am not trusting of church, church folks, pastors or Christians. I went into this church completely expecting nothing. I figure “here goes another pastor on a get rich plan” or “here goes another bunch of judgmental saints” I am very pleased to say, at love first, Love is always first. This church gives back to the community, both its members and nonmembers. The people here are real... real sinners saved by grace. I am so glad God placed me here to grow and serve. Come check it out for yourself.

Amazing place of worship. Everyone is inviting and no judgement was felt. The congregation is a nice mixture.

This church is AMAZING!! I love it so much and Pastors Jomo and Charmaine Cousins!. I have been going for 11 years now and they have never failed! God is so good! They are also in the process of making another building for the church and making the current one an indoor basketball court for the community.
