Medina Martial Arts of Riverview

I’ve seen many kids evolve in this academy. Some started with discipline problems and with Master Medina’s training, I see happy kids doing their homework and showing respect to adults.
If you don’t want your kids to be in timeout when they do something incorrect, like hitting other kids or stealing someone’s else food, this is not your place, because everybody respects each other, and is a martial arts academy, he will be strong but always respectful of course.
Master Medina will help you, but you will have to show respect, he has 40+ years in training and you can see how children love, respect and admire him.
If you see any 1 star reviews, are from parents that don’t want their children to be corrected for misbehaving and were just finding excuses for their multiple times and repeating bad actions.

This is by far one of the best schools in the area! My daughter came there Almost 4 years ago as a white belt and thanks to Master Medina’s hard work ethic and 40+ Experience she has not only successfully earned her 1st degree Black Belt under him, she has also gone on to to medal 14 times for ISKA & WKC Team USA’s! She is a 2019 2 time NASKA World Champion and has won 17 Florida state titles in her almost 4 years training with Master Medina!

I love this place! It is truly a family environment! We moved here 2 years ago and this was the best decision we ever made!

I switched my twin grandchildren from another martial arts center to Medina's and wish I had done so a lot sooner. After 1.5 years of seeing no progress at the other place, they have now been with Medina for one year and look fantastic doing their forms and they're so fit. The previous center only allowed students to come twice weekly and classes weren't serious. Medina encourages attendance 5 days per week at no additional cost and the level of instruction is second to none. I highly recommend.

LOVE Master Medina. He is very sweet and also knows when to crack down on the kids. My son loves going to aftercare now! He asks me to leave him there longer when he never did that in his schools aftercare.He is 5 and needs to learn discipline and needs to get his energy out.
