Beanie's Bar & Sports Grill

Beanies immediately gives you the
Impression that it’s a place that’s been around a while and is very popular with the locals. Once you get some food you’ll understand what it’s about. The food is home style and delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The wait staff is efficient and friendly and the customers are colorful. We enjoyed the experience very much and will definitely go back again.

Have been several times with other people and always found the wait staff to be excellent with a welcoming atmosphere but the food I have had has been less than expected for the price. I had chicken parmigiana which was barely warm and the spaghetti was hard in places. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were really hoppin’ that night but still gave excellent service.

With so many places to try, it can be a real challenge getting to them all.

Sad to say that we have driven by this place for the past 4 1/2 years and just now found the time to make the visit.

No we are regretting the times we passed by! This is one of those gems that fits the area perfectly.

Nice facility, friendly staff, and a pretty darn good menu selection of pub foods and other specialties.

I opted for the Beanie's Beef as it was a slightly cooler than normal day and I have a thing for Chicago style Italian Beef sammies. I have to say, Beanies does a darn good job on it. Plenty of nicely seasoned beef and sweet peppers. Had onions added to mine. They serve the Au Jus on the side (piping hot too). and I also got some Giardinera for a little spice up. Good fries too!

My other half got some chicken tenders that were simply perfect. Lightly breaded and very well seasoned. Those baked beans were awesome too.

Cuz went with the Shrimp baguette sammie and was also perfectly made.

So, it it is safe to say that Beanie's passed the test and we will be back, alot.

Quaint restaurant w/bar that has a nostalgic feel. Lots of history in this place.
We went during snowbird season. Apparently this is a favorite spot for snowbirds. Although we arrived very early for dinner, the other snowbirds beat us. We had about 45-50 minutes of wait time. We expected a wait because it was a weekend and we knew this was a popular venue.
Once we were seated, our waitstaff took care of us very quickly. We waited a moderate amount of time for our main course. (A salad or appetizer is recommended on those busy weekends.)
Our service was impeccable.
They have an interesting variety of choices in food. The food was prepared as ordered and tasted great. Big portion sizes. We had plenty of leftovers.
There is a bar and it can be a little loud. There’s plenty of tables away from the bar if you bring your family or a group.
Most of the people were seated indoors environment. There are tables outside.
Beanies is very economical. Lots of affordable options. Good location to take a small group/family for a feasible dining experience.
If you’re a snowbird, you’ll love this place. Very friendly and inviting.
