  I find this trail the perfect place to get a great workout. There is a paved trail, which is perfect for bikers and rollerbladers. It’s also a family-friendly area. I prefer the dirt trail that runs parallel to the paved trail for my runs, but the paved or dirt trail is versatile to suit a low-paced walk or fast-paced run. There is always an abundance of people, so you never feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The park rangers also regularly patrol the trail and are usually in their trucks at the trail entrance. There is also a water station at the entrance and at the 2-mile maker (immediately preceding the south loop). The hours are typically sunrise to sunset (i.e., changes by one hour for summer and winter). I highly recommend purchasing an annual parking pass ($50) if you plan to frequent this park or any of the conservation parks regularly! :)

  the northern part of New Tampa Park here is a large parking lot equipped with public toilets filtered fresh water and automatic machine for soda,here in the parking lot there are hardware tools for public use.perfect park for cycling and running...great time

  The bike path is flat but just a little shade. Take a look at a trails map unless you want a 14 mile ride aroung the park. Bathrooms only at the entrance, water stations every 2 miles or so.

  Very nice park, however I like the entrance on Morris Bridge more as is it has better access to water fountains. This part of the trail has more diversions to other parks, however, which is nice, specifically Trout Creek and the New Tampa Park

  I've passed by this park many times and just decided to swing by to take a walk with my 2 puppies, and was I surprised how beautiful it really was. It's $2 to park and the machine takes exact cash or a card. I didn't know what to expect but there is a very nice paved surface for bikes, roller blades, strollers, or wheelchairs. About 2 miles in is what is called 4 corners and there is ice cold water and a few benches to rest. That area starts a bigger loop, but there are actual hiking trails very nicely marked if you wanted to venture off the path. I managed to get the pups in their stroller to do 4 miles out while jogging and everyonewas so friendly. It's just a beautiful area of real Florida landscape with tons of wildlife. Right before sunset it's cool and pretty to see the colors emerge behind the dark pine trees. Definitely recommend this for all ages!
