Main Exchange Barber Shop

I have been going there for years. Too old to remember how long actually. I always see Kyle. Hes a major sports fan and works very hard. I say this bc my hair grows in 40 directions. I always laugh and tell him I liken him to one of those guys at Disney World who shapes the bushes into characters. He is a true professional who appreciates any suggestions. Go see him. You won't be disappointed.

Steve did an amazing job!! Barbers are supposed to be personable. He did a great job cutting hair while keeping me engaged in great conversation! My sons won’t let anyone cut their hair but Steve! Steve is truly an asset to the barbershop!!

In looking for the phone number I was disappointed to see these reviews —several of which were posted during the height of the pandemic.

During the pandemic they had to reduce staffing (same as everyone else) and wait times had been longer. Part of the wait times is attributable to Florida having closed all off base barber shops —which led to people who don’t normally get their hair cut on base, getting their hair cut on base. I appreciate the uniform priority rule —and despite the below review, the priority rule has been posted prominently (could have missed it due to major renovations at the Exchange). I have continued to execute my duties despite the pandemic and have been exceptionally busy —I appreciate being able to get my hair cut and back to work and to not have to wait.

I’m not sure what kind of hair cuts these people in the reviews are asking for —but I’ve only received good military style haircuts. The price is reasonable, the service is professional, and it’s convenient. With the renovations basically complete, they have much more staffing and minimal wait times. The truth is, I did wait longer sometimes during the pandemic —but I recognized everyone was collectively struggling and didn’t take to Google reviews to air my feelings.

If you want a good haircut, good service, for a good price then you’ll like this barbershop.
