“As a newb to the area I tried all the local outfits near Bloomingdale. There’s a few that are pretty good to be honest, however, I think that Jets is simply the best! I heard they had tasty pizza but I assumed since it was kind of a fast food style joint similar to dominos or papa john’s that it wouldn’t be great... Well I was wrong. The deep dish Detroit style pizza is great and the toppings and sauce are wonderful. It’s more like pizza “used to be” in my opinion instead of the card board crust and flavors that miss the mark. Definitely recommend it! Now only if there was good chinese good here...?”

“For only having two isles they have an impressive selection of grocery items, including frozen foods. Prices are slightly higher but reasonable. ATM allows withdrawals in $5 increments, not just $20 like most do. If you aren't paying in cash, the minimum debit/credit card purchase is $5. The owner always has a good attitude and it's obvious he genuinely appreciates his customers.”

“The Grind has great coffee and amazing food... especially their potatoes! They are one of a kind. Yesterday was our second time dining because we had such an amazing experience our first visit. I don’t know what the girl’s name was but she had an ugly attitude which was a shame because I do like this cafe. It seemed like everyone else was very pleasant except her. I wish I knew the name of the first person who helped us so I can give credit to her! I would definitely rate my first visit, the food and the coffee 5 stars.”

“This restaurant has some incredible food and I enjoy getting take out from here all the time. It’s always hot and fresh. The reason for the four stars is because they can be stingy with the sauces, and while most food items are really good (like the do’s tinga tacos) there are a few that are flavorless, like the blackened chicken burrito. Still it’s a good place to get food.”

“Went for the first time for a date night. The food was like I was at home in Puerto Rico. ?? The atmosphere was very nice, the music was perfect. We had the Mofongo was delicious... and the stuffed chicken was perfection.. the white rice and beans had me in heaven for sure. “I took my 5 yr old out to eat for some mommy and daughter time on Friday, October 23rd at around 8:30pm. The service was great and fast. The restaurant was nice, clean and smelled good. My server (Irina P.) was very attentive and she brought us what we needed before and without us asking. She was also very accommodating to my wants and we both left very happy and satisfied. My daughter said several times wow that was fast and quick. I was so happy and satisfied that I stopped by the bar on our way out for another drink and although they where shutting down the bar, the bartender still made me a very tasty drink. She made my drink quickly with a smile and efficiently with no problem whatsoever. I will definitely be going back very soon as well as recommending.”

Perfect for hangry stops for tacos and boy are they delicious. Their carnitas (juicy shredded pork) is flavorful and moist; lengua (braised tongue) is the perfect texture; al pastor (marinated beef roasted on a spit with pineapple) is a local favorite; barbacoa (shredded marinated beef) might be my favorite). Everything put on a corn tortilla made by hand. Truly delicious.”
