  I had gator for the first time. Pretty good. Hard to judge the service from that one trip because we accidentally went during the Superbowl so they were pretty busy. Waiter was very friendly and patient with all my questions about the menu even though he was busy though :)

  We had the pretzel as an appetizer which came with two sauces, cheese and mustard. Both were good compliments. We shared the chili nachos and gator nuggets. It was the first time any of us had eaten gator and we were pleasantly surprised. During our trip we had eaten gator nuggets at another place and I can say that the ones at Gator's Dockside were superior.

  Elizabeth that took our takeout order on the phone was awesome to deal with, she was patient with my wife who did not have a menu in front of her.
  
  I got the Buffalo garlic wings, breaded. they were not crispy because they were swimming in the sauce that had tons of garlic in it. I personally loved it, but if you don't like tons of garlic you should avoid it. I wish we lived closer because I would get it again immediately.
  
  My wife had a basic chicken and rice dish, it was good. We ordered chicken tenders for the kids and they enjoyed those.
  
  All in all, a nice local option for takeout.
