First time having my wisdom tooth removed and Dr. Achong did an amazing job. I was back at work the next day no pain and no swelling. Thank the Lord for using this doctor and his staff to make this process as smooth as possible.
When I was 23 and no insurance I had an impacted wisdom tooth and the oral surgeon who removed it apparently hit a nerve as my jaw had a numb tingling sensation for almost 6 months, I couldn't even eat mashed potatoes or anything with any consistency for almost a week. I was scared it was permanent and put off getting the other 3 done even when I got dental insurance shortly after. When I turned 30 they started causing discomfort and was referred to Dr. Achong, had the consultation and scheduled for surgery the next week. Had the IV sedation just like before and woke up what seemed like minutes later, this time I was asking when they were starting the procedure as I have a high tolerance for sedation meds and was pretty coherent. When they told me I was done it was amazing, I literally had no pain even that evening when everything was out of my system. I ate mashed potatoes and meatloaf(yeah I know gross) that evening. Absolutely no complications and eating normal diet 3 days later. I had this done about 8 years ago and only writing the review as my daughter will need 2 teeth removed to make room for her canines in the next year, when Dr Wong asked who I had a preference to remove them I immediately fondly remembered DR Achong and how he would be the ONLY oral surgeon I would recommend for friends or family. Thank You again Dr Achong, we will see you again soon.

Very satisfied with our experience. My son was 6 years old, Dr. Achong did the surgery for him to remove the extra hidden teeth. The office staff were all friendly and helpful. Dr. Achong was very experienced and professional, my son recovered quickly after the surgery.
