“We went on a overcast Wednesday so the breeze was nice off the lake and not too hot or crowded to sit outside. The service was fast and the food good. The fried oysters were very nice as well as the fried green tomatoes. We did order two tall gin and tonics and wondered where the gin was because neither of us tasted the gin nor felt anything after drinking them, so just keep that in mind. The food is worth it though, the restaurant clean and staff friendly.”

“Saw this food truck by itself next to the 7elven around Groveland and was starving, so decided to check them out. The owners were nice, and the food smelled delicious. It's a nice setup, and the prices were right. Had the al pastor, asada, barbacoa tacos, and the birria pizza. Overall, it's a great spot if you happen to drive by the area or live by and want some tacos and other stuff.”

“Not usually a fan of corporate restaurants, but our first experience at Roadhouse was an unexpected pleasure. Friendly greetings at the door by the hostess made us feel welcome. “Saw the place with Grand Pappy's sign that stated" not fast food" and sounded like something I would like to try with the breakfast sign on the window. As we were drive home my daughter said she was hungry so we drove here and after walking in was greeted and sat down to eat. Had a great home feel everyone was very nice. Small dining room area so gives the home table kind of feel. Food was good and fast. Very friendly service! Will be back they also had a sign in area when you come back you start receiving free or discounted items.”

“Finally went to Root and Branch and we were not disappointed! We sat at the bar and Summer was a fantastic attentive and friendly bartender with great recommendations! The fried green tomatoes, steak tartare and pork chop are a must! We will definitely be back. Only recommendation would be to dim the lights in the dining room and turn up the background music for a more enjoyable environment. “WOW out of this world, walking in the door seeing all the badges and photos of veterans and first responders was awesome. Was a little skeptical at first the first bite of my pork sandwich had me hooked line and sinker. The sweet tea and lemonade was fantastic. Try the potato chunk cheese they were superb. My only regret was not getting another platter to go home for leftovers and the cup. We will gladly drive 1.5 hours to eat here again. The staff made it great.”

“We came here last Thursday before heading back to Canada. We had a reservation as Thursdays are busy (you can only reserve seats indoors, the beautiful outdoor patio is first come first serve). The hostess pulled some strings and seated us by the window, and we were there for sunset, which was stunning! The food was great! Seafood was top notch as expected. It's pricey, but you also pay for the views! Highly recommend eating here, especially if you can get on the patio.”

There is nothing overly fancy about the decor but our server was friendly, helpful and efficient. My mojito was made well with the right ratio of muddled mint, lime, light rum, simple syrup, maybe too much ice, but aren't all drinks like that? The chips and salsa are the only items that are underwhelming. All 3 of our entrees were very delicioso! My shrimp and steak were perfectly cooked. Our fried ice cream was just right, not overly dressed like some we've had. We definitely recommend and will visit again.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was! The sushi was very good, and there are many unique options. The miso soup was also richer than I’ve normally had, and it was delicious. The waitress was kind, and the seating was comfortable. I recommend this place for smaller groups of 2-5. There are many screens on the walls with various programs playing, which was a negative for me because of my sensory processing issues. It was difficult for me to hold a conversation without losing my train of thought from the movement. Otherwise, five stars! Excellent!”

I’m a big pig so I ate it all, but it could have easily been shared. The Kung Po chicken was good, but it could have been spicier. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again.
