Cortez Clam Factory

Really busy on a Thursday night. Live music outside but it was too hot, so we opted to eat indoors. Crabby balls were the star of the meal today. I ordered fish tacos on the servers recommendation. They were just okay, sorry of flavorless. My husband had the peel n eat shrimp. He said they were tasty. Is like to go back again. I wanted the hogfish, but she said they haven't had it in a long time.

The best oysters! Ordered half a dozen. Ate those, they were so good, I ordered another half lol Loved them! Steamed peel & eat shrimp was good, too. Husband was not a fan of his soft shell sandwich though. He said it was extremely fishy & mushy on the inside. Said he didn't feel like it was cooked correctly.

But those oysters I had tho....perfect!

First visit. Food is amazing. Great service. Live band was playing.
We shared: grouper sandwich, came with fries (omg amazing), crab balls and clam chowder. All was hot, and delish!

Me and my fiance had the fried fish dinner, which I highly recommend!!! Nice flavor, nice texture! The clam chowder was also delicious. I'll have to go back and try more things.

Excellent variety of seafood and meat.
The atmosphere of the place is excellent, like a kind of bar or beach market, full of decorative details and with a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
The food is incredible, with very good fish and seafood dishes, and the addition of meats with options to eat them in unusual formats such as tataki.
The attention is very good and very friendly, and they are super fast in service.
There are usually bands playing live which is not a place to go if you are looking for a quiet dinner.
It is ideal to go with friends to drink beer and enjoy various well-prepared dishes
