I highly recommend Chris Charron. I took my 6 year old son, Nicholas to a hair appointment with Chris. Chris is great with kids and did an excellent job. The best part is that Nicholas loves and is proud of his haircut. He styled it the following morning and wanted to go to my ex mother in law's house that night to show her his haircut, as well. Nicholas said that he only wants to go to Chris at Modern Gents again to get his haircuts.

Second haircut since relocating to the Sarasota area and this is where I’ll be going from now on. New, very clean shop and Mimi was superb. She gave me a terrific haircut; just what I asked for. I told her, “You’re hired!” Thanks!

I’ve been to many barbers and hairstylists with my son, and I have to say, Mimi at Modern Gents in Lakewood Ranch was amazing with my son and did an amazing job cutting his hair- definitely the best haircut he’s had in his whole life. Not only was she patient with this wiggly worm, but did an excellent job making my little one look even more handsome than before despite the all moving around most 4 year olds do. She understood exactly what I requested, and ensured to exceed my expectations and DELIVER. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a haircut, smooth fade, and great service.

I decided to try and get a same-day appointment and was able to get one an hour after my call. I was greeted and offered a drink promptly after my arrival and received a great haircut, courtesy of Lindsey! I highly recommend Modern Gents!

I've moved to Lakewood Ranch recently and I needed a clean cut. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. I booked an appointment with Mimi. She definitely did a better job than my go to barber in my home town. Mimi was very patient and meticulous with her work and did an excellent job. It may be a bit pricey but it's worth it in my opinion.
