Florida Railroad Museum

Great service

This was a different experience than what I expected. Not really much of a museum but a cool experience riding on a train. The miniture train exhibit was pretty cool to look at and pretty detailed. The train ride itself was a pleasant ride through some rual land, saw trees and cows and some wildlife. There is a halfway stop where you get out and can look at some other trains that are being or waiting to be restored and there are some little play areas for the kids.

Great place to take kids for a train ride. Was there 3/20/2021 for the 2pm . The train ride was nice with the exception of only seeing trees most of the ride. The stop at willow was very quick and not enough time to really see all the equipment and cars. I would hope that they will receive funding to organize everything and maybe make it so that you can ride the train to willow and maybe spend an hour or so while the train waits or leaves to pick up the next group of visitors. This place has great potential to be a much better museum to visit. I'm not complaining just giving my opinion of what this museum could be. At the time we visited it felt like a family run attraction.

Took my son for Thomas's day out and it was great the entire family had a ball . One big tip : do not wear any good shoes or sneakers here this is not the spot for them .

This was such a great experience. Hot chocolate, arts/crafts, fire pits and fabulous decorations.
The Santa Claus was PERFECT! It's worth going just for that.
My only two suggestions is to have more museum and train information on site. We came to visit early but there really wasn't much but the small souvenir store. A train themed playground would be a great addition!
