1088 Nutrition at 1088 CrossFit has a great system to keep you on track for your road to healthier eating. I started the 6 week challenge to eat More. This way I was accountable to check on me that I was eating breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner daily. As a wife, mom to 4 kids and running my business I did not put enough time into having breakfast or eating a proper lunch. I have been eating more and eating healthier. I also have more energy when I come to the gym to do my workouts. Thank you Coach Priscilla and Coach Coley for keeping me on track.
I didn't think I would survive 1 session, and here I am 10 months later. I am addicted and the 50lbs less doesn't hurt. Everyone at Bluewave is so friendly and always there to cheer you on. Injuries don't have to stop you from reaching your goals. You can scale your workout until you are up to your full potential. One thing I have learned is everyone gets there at their own pace. I am so glad my daughter got me to try CROSSFIT.

Priscilla, Brian and the crew at CrossFit 1088 are always super nice and welcoming when I drop in. A recently expanded (as of Summer 2018) facility with a lot of new equipment and plenty of room for large classes. The coaches always take their time to help when needed. This is a great place to check out if you're looking for somewhere new to work out or a place to drop in while in Ocala. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere with classes designed for kids and seniors as well.
I've been going to blue wave for 6 months now and not long after I started I injured my knee. Through my recovery Priscilla and Brian scaled workouts for me to still be able to participate. I am just now getting into a routine and I appreciate all the support and motivation they have given me.
This gym is different than any other gym I have been to. Brian and Priscilla are both very knowledgeable and quick to give you any tips on how to improve your workouts, mobility, and diet. I know I would never receive this type of push at a gym by myself. Highly recommended.
