  This is a tropical paradise snuggled within a magical Forrest. Swim in the luxurious springs with a gorgeous emerald shimmer. It could be a dream but it isn't. Grill up some tasty goodies on their grills then take an adventure on the trail that takes you to see the awe-inspiring boiling sand springs. It's a beautiful place for family to share amazing memories.

  I was by myself, so the $6 was well wroth the price. I walked both the trails - to Lake George and to the Spring boils (photo 1). The trails were clean and clear. The water in the Spring lake was so clear, and nearly empty on this Sunday (off season). From the shore (I didn't think to bring my swimming gear), you could easily see to the bottom, lime formations, beautiful (photo 2 - that's not algae!)! There were boats on the lake...but not near the swimming areas.

  Lots of picnic tables and a wonderful short hike to the spring boils. We were able to swim with manatees in the crystal clear water and even took a canoe out to the lake for a few hours. We were there in the middle of the week on a warm day in the fall and the place was empty!

  Great place on the weekdays since you have the place to yourself. Fun swimming with the fish and diving to the mouth of the spring. Facilities are good and they have snacks for sale. $6 per person to get in. Worth every penny. Always make it a point to stop when driving in the area.
