I will forever be grateful for the impact that the Perspectives family has had on my life.
I made the decision to stay at Perspectives for 10 months early in my sobriety. It is, by far, one of the best choices I made in terms of setting myself up for long term success in my recovery. The staff at Perspectives genuinely care about their clients and want the best for everyone who comes through their doors.
Amazing amazing amazing. After fighting addiction for 10yrs I can finally say I’ve been sober for 2yrs and going stronger than ever. All thanks to Dr. Logan, Sharon, BettyJo and Adam @ perspectives II, you guys are such wonderful, caring people. I honestly can’t rave enough about you guys! Thank you for everything!!
I have nothing but respect and gratitude for Jack and the staff at Perspectives. My daughter needed help and his staff was exceptionally welcoming and comforting in a difficult time. Addiction doesn't just effect the addict, and as a parent I was lost and confused about what my role and responsibilities actually were. As well as seeing and treating my daughter they allowed any family that was interested to come on Wednesday nights. In addition they set up a meeting just for families of addicts to attend, without additional monies due to help with the issues that we were facing.
Jack made himself available to me several times via phone after hours to answer questions and help me through difficult issues with my daughter. Although he never gave me any specific "do this, don't do that" instructions, he was very helpful in guiding me to decide what behaviors I could live with and where to draw my line in the sand. The night my daughter crossed that line he was there on the phone telling me to do what I thought was right but that if I allowed her that transgression then she will have won. It was a very difficult night and I held my line. It didn't happen immediately but my daughter is now clean and sober. She has her own apartment, car and is holding down a job.
If perspectives had not been there I honestly feel like my daughter would not be clean. It was the help offered by Perspectives and Jack that gave me the confidence to go against all my motherly instincts and force my daughter to hit her bottom so she could finally recover.
PERSPECTIVES LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE. Jack, Craig and all the staff really care about each and every person that walks through their doors. They individualize your treatment and make you feel like you are part of their family. I stayed at perspectives for almost a year and I can honestly say I left a completely different person than who I was coming in. They helped me in every way they possibly could, and believed in me every step of the way. I have taken all the skills that they taught me and still use them now. Even after leaving perspectives they still reach out and make sure that I am doing okay. I’m so grateful to have been a part of perspectives and will carry this experience with me forever!
Perspectives offers more than enough care for every client that walks through their doors. Whether they’re dealing with family, friends or the law, they take care of the issues at hand and help guide and facilitate a new way of life for each client. Much different than a typical run of the mill treatment program or sober living, the life skills provided guarantee sobriety if those skills are utilized 100%. Staff cares deeply about everyone, are down to earth and make the packages affordable. Don’t go anywhere else because they don’t compare to this place ????
