  Love this park! We went on the boat ride down the river to Trapper Nelson's. The guide gave us information about the wildlife, plants and trees. The tour guide at Trapper Nelson's was wonderful as she explained the life of the Trapper. A must see!! They also have canoes, horseback riding, camping areas, hiking trails and even cabins to rent. Jonathan Dickinson Park is beautiful! I have been here several times and will continue to return.

  Nice little park, quite a few recreational activities to do such as kayaking, canoeing, biking etc.

  Beautiful wild Florida just of the highway! Rented kayaks and had a lovely picnic on the Loxahatchee river.

  The park is nice and the location being just a few minutes by car from the beach, public, etc was awesome. I would recommend to take some skeater beater and to try to ensure the camp site is not too close to the mangroves. Also, if you are thinking about taking one of the river tours, I would recommend to find out if the tide is low for your dates. When the tide is low, the boat has a more limited route and at least in our case, the animals were hiding out of sight.
