“I've been Dan's student for 5 years now, and he is a great teacher. He has very flexible scheduling and is very patient when teaching. When I first started, I had no knowledge on how to play drums, and Dan has taught me so much that I was able to participate in a band concert consisting of a singer, pianist, guitarist, and myself being the drummer. I've recently started piano lessons with him as well. Overall it has been a great experience learning from Dan.”

Overall, the school= Cool kids, cool classes, cool teachers, but not so cool food... P.S. The food is actually COOL, it needs to be warmed up more sometimes.”

“Redland is a very good school with teachers who care about their students education and learning environment. The security strive to keep students safe. The bathrooms never have toilet paper or paper towels. The desk are uncomfortable and undersized. The food has a monstrous taste and will kill your taste buds. Its still a good school because of their agriculture program , which is fun and very interactive.”

“A great Christian Private school. God before anything right? Classes are small and so I love that my child gets the attention she Probably wouldn’t in a full room. It also helps create great relationships with the teachers as a parent. This is my daughter’s 4th year attending and it won’t be the last. She excels in her academics every year. She Received numerous rewards like the Principal’s List etc. My niece also attends there and graduated as Valedictorian. Can’t be any more proud🥹 She is now in High school there. It doesn’t have to be this school but I recommend putting your child in a school that is small capacity and is Christ centered. It’s good on educational aspects and as well as Christ like characteristics.”

“This school is not so bad as you might think I'm a student their and I recommend if your child cant take a joke and is very sensitive don't put them here but overall a great school people make it more ghetto then it is and most of the people don't go to the school but the teachers are really nice and you get rewarded for everything you do students are friendly and their is a lot more activities then most school like Chinese or Spanish classes and they also have advanced classes for gifted people and thell help you get into highschool but that's it overall a great school and I love going their everyday mostly because i think the work is easy.”

“Great school! Teachers and administration in the Kindergarten - 2nd grade building are awesome! Lots of extra activities are available for the students to participate in if they wish. They go the extra mile to make learning fun! Front office is very welcoming. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the students feel loved. Although students are given multiple chances to the right thing, for those that consistently don't follow the rules, discipline issues are addressed quickly and compassionately. I like that they keep in mind the impact that disruptive students have on the other students. When I voiced my concerns, the assistant principal and her support people listened to me and resolved the issue. Those parents that complain are usually those who never volunteer or whose children are disruptive. Charter schools are not for everyone, but if you want an environment where your child will be helped to achieve academically, be respected, and feel loved, this is the best school for you.”

“Discovery Montessori is one of the best private schools down south. They don’t just offer education, they understands the students with patience and time with learning at their pace. This school is family oriented. My daughter came to this school at four years old not knowing anything. By the time she graduated the VPK program she was reading on a kindergarten level and excelling in math and most of all writing. I have four kids that attend this school and coming from public school it’s a big difference because teachers don’t give the one to one learning as Discovery Montessori Academy does and that’s why my kids will remain in this school.”
