Suggestion for Google maps. There is a good deal of construction going on near the port of Miami administration building that is making walking a little challenging. Might be worth some updates. Did appreciate your directions on using transit today. Has been an interesting way to see Miami so far.
Very busy Port in South Florida! We took our Freedom Boat Club 21’ Hurricane deck boat for a ride through the port Enroute to the Miami River. The cruise ship 🛳 side is off limits for security and it’s not even worth trying that side of the island. Law enforcement can be heard incessantly hailing errant boaters on VHF-16. We went on the south side of the island and stayed in the channel. Tons of freighters and cranes and shipping containers everywhere. Everyone on the island was friendly and professional. Great Job Port of Miami!!
Miami is a beautiful city with great people to welcome visitors. Like any town you have to be aware of both sides of the equation. My hammy has wonderful things to offer for those that enjoy the outdoor activities with the beauty of the ocean nearby..... the balance of American and immigrant culture is dynamic and adds to the flavor during your visit to Miami
