I am a health advocate that represented a patient of Dr. Anguiera. Due to an apparent administrative error, my client's blood sample was sent to an out of network lab resulting in a very high bill-not covered by her insurance.($2,600 rather than approximately $400 in network). When contacted, the Dr. was quickly responsive-and took steps to ensure that his patient did not have to bear the financial brunt of the error. It's great to see a doctor who will take the time to get involved in correcting an office mistake in order to assist his patient. Dr. Anguiera showed much integrity and compassion in doing so--qualities that are valuable to and appreciated-by patients. I thank him for stepping in and helping.
