  I love this school I’m a 7th grade student and I have great teachers, delicious vending machines, and great counselors. I wish this school was up to College because I love it here.

  This is the best school I ever went to in my life. I was in this school for 4 years. Now I'm going to middle school sadly. Also, remember to always study and try your best!

  I just want to say that I loved Somerset! I’m not part of a click and I just happened to learn about this page from a friend of mine. My son is now going to a private school for a learning disability but I miss Somerset and all the teachers and staff. He was identified because of his 3rd and 4th grade teacher Mrs. Meneses. I’m a teacher myself (not at Somerset) so I think I can give u pretty fair assessment of a school. I know how hard it is to balance all of the students with different learning needs. I know for a fact my son was getting pulled out for help. Not only did he get help during school hours but my son had anxiety about homework so his teacher would help him after school to put his mind at ease. To me that’s going above any beyond. As far as P. E. I loved Coach De la Rosa. I actually liked that it was in a gym because it gets so hot . Coach actually came on a Sat to see my son play basketball. One thing that did strike me wearing “my parent hat” was how demanding some of the parents were around me. I felt like they thought by moving their kid from public to charter was like switching to private school. That’s not realistic. I had a wonderful experience at Somerset. In my sons private school I don’t get the warm feeling when I walk in and I miss that. I recommend Somerset completely.
