  If you’re wondering what a Doula is and contemplating if you really need one, trust me you need one! Not just a Doula but you need Shayla! Birth is beautiful and we all want that amazing experience. It is also excruciating and scary! I’m sooo thankful we had Shayla there to get through those scary and painful moments, which felt like my entire birth. My husband and I went to birthing class and learned all the tricks and prepped our bag with everything we needed to get me through. All of that knowledge and all those pain management tricks went out the window. I could not focus on anything other than what was happening in that moment. I am beyond grateful we had Shayla there to do all those things and guide us through the process! We didn’t have to think about what position should we try next, is this or that normal, just her presence was a relief. When I felt like I couldn’t do it any longer Shayla was right there encouraging me and making me believe I could still do this. Her demeanor is reassuring. She just has a way of making you feel you got this! She’ll be there every step of the way to get you through!
  
  Postpartum Shayla is incredible. She has a natural ability with babies. When my husband and I could not comfort our colicky new born, Shayla was able to soothe him. We were amazed! She shared some of her tips with us that helped us tremendously! We are first time parents and felt so clueless. Having her support made such a big difference for us...Thank you Shayla for everything!!
