  Excellent! Seemed smaller scale in a good way. I felt like the massage therapist really paid attention to me. I had the spa splash package, which includes access to the pool at the next-door hotel and a complimentary cocktail. The massage itself was wonderful and included aromatherapy and hot towels. They also have boutique items for purchase in the lobby. Overall really nice and exceeded my expectations.

  Great experience at Shala Spa. Swedish massage was exactly what we were looking for! Great end to our Miami vacation. Would recommend anyone looking for relaxation and stress relief!

  I found this little spot because I have gift cards through “Spa Week” that I have been trying to get rid of for the longest time. I was doing some research on good spas around South Beach and stumbled upon this one. I decided to treat myself to the Valentine’s Bliss package. For what was included I think it was the best value I found anywhere in South Florida. I was skeptical after seeing some of the reviews, but I decided to take the chance… and I am SO GLAD I did.
  
  When I arrived, they informed me that they do not accept the Spa Week gift cards, which was kind of disappointing at first, but since I was going to get charged for the services either way I decided to just enjoy it and make the best of it. The staff was very, very pleasant and they were completely transparent about each service offered and the associated charges. I knew exactly what to expect service wise and cost wise prior to arriving to my appointment (2/17/2019). I wish I got her name, but the woman at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. I felt right at home. I didn’t have to wait long in the lobby, but they did offer orange and mint infused water while I waited that was absolutely delicious and refreshing.
  
  This little spot is definitely tucked away. It is a small spot nestled inside the Dream hotel. The entrance to the spa is located near the lobby entrance. It was a very small space, yet very home-y. They had a nice selection of essential oils, jewelry, and candles.
  
  They had me fill out a basic form to gather more information about me and my “problem areas”. I met with Sonia who went through the entire form with me start to finish. The spa décor was very nice and despite its location (near the lobby and near Collins) it was very quiet and relaxing. The room was also extremely relaxing and quiet.
  
  Sonia was absolutely AMAZING. She addressed all the problem areas that I had listed on the form. The pressure was perfect. She found spots in the shoulders and back that I didn’t even know existed! The ambiance also made this such a relaxing experience. The stones used in the massage and foot masque were the perfect temperature. I had an overall amazing experience. When I left I felt completely rejuvenated and was pretty much half asleep! This spa experience was definitely long over due for me, but I am SO happy I took the chance on this place. It was absolutely amazing and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I would go back here in a heartbeat. I’m already trying to plan my next trip!
  
  Once I was finished with my massage, I was given a voucher for a free drink and access to the day pool on the roof. The pool was very beautiful and well maintained. It was very quiet and relaxing. There were only 2 booths that had the best ocean view, but I went to the other side that was facing Collins because it was more secluded. I didn’t mind the noise from the street. It was overall just a wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to de-stress! They provided wonderful services for a great value! I will be going back very soon!
