Cardozo South Beach

Clean rooms, great amenities and fantastic service! A beautiful hotel! Right across the street from the beach.. the courtyard area is lovely especially in the evenings. Local shopping a plenty thanks to the Lincoln Road shopping district. Restaurants galore on Ocean Dr!

Although we didn’t stay at the hotel I can’t review the hotel but we ate there for dinner for my birthday. Our waiter was Javier. Probably the most knowledgeable waiter I have ever had. You can tell he loves what he sells he was great from beginning to end. Very attentive, we took his recommendations and they were all great. The food was delicious, staff was very nice and hospitable. If you ever go there make sure you get Javier. Kid deserves a raise. Will definitely come back to the food and the staff. Excellent dinner experience.

The room is spacious, clean, and modern. I like how there was tile instead of carpet because that is much cleaner. I also enjoyed the shower area more so than if it was a bathtub. The water pressure could’ve used a little bit of work especially coming out of the wand, but I was happy to have the wand in the first place. There is not a lot of space around the sink area and I, as a guy, couldn’t get all my toiletries to fit so keep that in mind. The room included a refrigerator, but that’s not as useful as if there was a microwave, so no bringing back leftovers. The location couldn’t be better. There is a Walgreens within a five minute walk as well as several restaurant choices. Speaking of restaurants, the one in the hotel is very expensive. The hotel is across the street from the beach. South Beach is different because there’s a lot of beach before you get to the water. The hotel is as close as it can be and it’s perfect. There is even water to wash the sand off you before you get back to your hotel. Included in the resort fee, you get a lounger on the beach. Umbrellas are extra, but I felt just the lounger and being out of the sand was good enough. South Beach has become one of my favorite spots, and this hotel will be the first one I look at when I return, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to South Beach as well.

Wow, we had an amazing stay. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Perfect location right on South Beach. Wonderful bar (best mojito ever), Cuban restaurant is beautiful and really good food, GREAT coffee shop with fantastic coffee and pastries (Estefan Kitchen). This hotel is truly a luxury hotel in an old Art Deco building in the middle of South Beach. South Beach is a busy area, live music seven nights a week, so expect a vibrant, busy, fun atmosphere. I look forward to my next trip to South Beach,. I will definitely stay at the Cardozo South Beach Hotel again!

The paella 🥘 at the restaurant was fantastic and the location is great with no front vehicle traffic which makes it a great ambience.

Make sure to ask for the lobster 🦞 tail to be not over cooked. 2 out of 3 were fantastic, one notorious miss and still they didn't change it.
