Every single person that I had contact with was friendly and helpful-- including one especially awesome bartender who scrounged up a cut of mint tea for me an hour before the bistro would open.
The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is located right on the Sacramento River.

This hotel was a really great place to stay! The breakfast here is very appetizing and very good! I'd say the omelets are the best here. Oh, also the walking distances are actually good, you can walk to the capitol building and many other places. Also, the building is very clean. The rooms are also very clean and very comfortable to stay in, but sometimes the towels have stains, but the towels are still clean. When I first got to the hotel, parking was really hard to find, but luckily I found out that they have valet parking. Honestly, the valet parking is worth it than finding a place to park. The valet staff were also really sweet and kind! The receptionists were also really sweet, but it took a while for them to find a room because they cancelled the room that I booked, but they eventually found a room for me and my family. Overall, this hotel will be the place I will stay every time I go to Sacramento. The staff is really sweet and helpful, the building and the room is really clean. But, parking is hard to find, so like I said valet parking is worth it. Also, the walking distances are really close to places that I want to go to, it's amazing and good exercise! I recommend you guys to check out this hotel!

Great room with a view overlooking the Sacramento River and Tower Bridge. Obviously, you have to request the river view rooms. And yes, the bridge really is painted gold.

The only thing that some may not like is that there is a tourist train that runs next to the hotel. It only runs a couple of times per day in the late morning through the afternoon. I love trains, so it's an added bonus for me.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Sacramento. The rooms are great, great views, happy hour & breakfast are included, and very nice, and the staff are always friendly. We ran a race right down the street & this was very convenient. In our free time we walked across the street to Old Town. When we left we were only a short distance from the airport, so we enjoyed the stay. My only advice is to check on parking. It is valet only, and was sold out. We had to park across the street at the lot. Luckily this was close by. We will definitely be back.

Pleasantly surprised. I’m really glad I read the reviews before booking a reservation. My mother and I traveled from Oregon for an overnight stay. I’ll start by saying the valet guys were amazing. My mother needed to borrow their wheel chair multiples times and they were super helpful. The room was clean, the breakfast that was included was awesome.
