“The MLK restaurant is located in the Liberty City section of Miami. We took the metro from Fort Lauderdale and it is very easy to access. We took the MLK exit off the metro and walked a couple of blocks and there was the historic restaurant. Service was outstanding and the food was very good, as expected. We opted for the Chicken and Waffles and it was very tasty. If you are familiar with African-American southern cooking you will not be disappointed.”

“Stopped at Pilot for the night. Figured I would check this place out. Place is located in the middle of the Casino. Fine dining atmosphere. Without fine dining prices. Offers a variety of dishes. Being a Native Floridian. I got the Conch Fritters to start. Which were Excellent! For dinner I had Alligator! Sauteed in a butter, white wine sauce. Definitely different from the norm. But, I really enjoyed it. I commend the Chef for thinking outside the box. Would recommend stopping here Even if you're not much of a gambler.”

“This is one of the gem restaurants in Miami Beach that a lot of people don't know about. I guess it's because it's located inside a residential building. We came here for a birthday lunch and it was 13 of us. We were greeted and seated by friendly staff that provided us with a professional service. I actually had to leave after just an hour and they accommodated me with faster service and separated check without any issues. The food was excellent even though the portions could be a bit bigger. The menu is diverse with influences from different cuisines such as American, Italian and Argentinean. This restaurant is very well designed with an elegant feel. The prices are affordable but be prepared to pay a special rate of $10 for valet downstairs. I will be back!”

“I went to this place because my sister had recommended me their food for months, and I finally tried it today. She was right, the food was great. Their menu was huge variety of incredible healthy options. I had plantain arepa with cheese and shredded chicken. The taste was fantastic and not heavy at all. The pancakes that my sister had were sooooo good. Next time I go I want definitely try the other pancakes they have on their menu because I loved their texture and taste.”

“Whether I’m eating there or taking out, the food is beyond good and always fresh. This Japanese-Peruvian fusion is by far one of the best in Miami! I eat there at least once a week because my body will legit start craving Sokai. 100% recommended. Keep in mind this is not fast food and at times it could be busy, so expect to wait some time for your food to be ready. The wait is worth it, trust me!”

My only complain is that portions tend to vary from order to order and the price is really steep, I get it is located in Doral and the rent is probably very expensive, but the restaurant is set up mostly as a take out and/or quick lunch eat-in.”
