  Lovely home, great value, great location. I’m looking forward to living in my new home.
  
  January 2019 update - my house is almost complete! We’ve had a great experience, minus several minor cons.
  
  For example, we weren’t allowed to speak with the construction supervisor, which is unusual in new construction. The MyMaronda home progress website was often times outdated (e.g. Cabinets will say they were installed today, yet they were installed three weeks ago). I don’t like that the design options were very limited—I would have loved quartz countertops in my home, for instance, but it wasn’t an option. Granite or laminate were my options. I’m also disappointed in the ridiculous HOA fees that seem overpriced for what you get (literally a mailbox and tiny playground), when comparable communities will charge similar fees and give you more amenities. I personally don’t use amenities much, but if it’s mandatory for me to shell out $85/month, I better see where the money is going. My other con is that you really have to be on top of communication with anyone at Maronda Homes. Be extremely proactive, or you will be disappointed. Everyone working within Maronda Homes is very polite and professional otherwise. Anika Jones and Peter Estrella are rockstars.
  
  Now, for the many pros: My house is looking extremely well-done aside from a few small things (like cabinetry) that I’ll be pointing out during my walk-through. The quality of structural workmanship exceeds code requirements. I like the variety of homesites and variety of floorplans (that were) available, and how every plot is 75 feet or wider—virtually unheard of in central FL new construction communities, unless premiums are paid. I like that homes aren’t crammed as tightly as possible, and that there’s actually more than 20 feet of space between each house. I like that almost every floorplan gives you a workshop or three car garage—you can actually have a place for your tools and projects. Amazing! I like that my driveway will be one of the longest in the neighborhood, since you’re able to have just about any floor plan on any homesite (with exceptions). All in all, I think about my brand new dream home every single day, and how Maronda Homes helped me reach that milestone. Next up is the walkthrough, inspection and, finally, closing. Thank you!

  I love the location. That was the most important thing for me. It is quiet and peaceful with lake nearby. Close to the major roadways. I like the model home.its features are unique. 3 car garage. I love the floor plan with the dining room and flex room . I love the space that allows you to walk from the garage without going thru the laundry room. Love the floor plan all around. Just what I needed.

  Being a first time home buyer, Maronda Homes made our home buying experience very stress free and enjoyable. Anyone looking to buy a new construction home I would highly recommend Maronda!
