Great place for day hikes and camping. We enjoy bringing the dog out there. Very peaceful and nuce to watch the wildlife
Tosohatchee is a great place to visit the real Florida. It is a multi-use area with lots to see and do. It has a diverse eco environment. Hiking trails are well marked and well maintained. Great place to go in dryer, cool weather. Just watch out for the poison ivy.
Great place to explore. You can fish, hike, bike, and launch a canoe. Look for posts from Tammi and i. We will start to share more. We have been to all the parks in and around central Fla. Tosohatchee has worked on lake Charlie and there campgrounds. Park ranger Tom and Jackie have good knowledge of the park and are very helpful. Definitely worth driving to.

This place is AWESOME!! You feel like you are miles from civilization! It's only $3 to get in. There's something for everyone. Scenic drive, hiking, biking, camping, bird watching, looking @ cows! Wait what? Yes, cow!! There's a huge farm, next door & the cow escape, into the park! We are planning, our first camping trip there! The "Youth Camp" is the best! 3 spots, with a restroom ( no sink), a pavilion, picnic tables, & fire pits!
