Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was meeting a longtime friend I don't get to see very often, and they didn't rush us at all. In fact, we stayed until they closed! We tried to pay a few times, and they insisted we not rush. We shared the vegan platter for two, and it's the most food I've ever had in an Ethiopian restaurant...the injera is very good (better than Nile). Highly recommend!
Fantastic! A must visit if in the Orlando area. We had the vegetable combination that provided great flavor and welcomed variety. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. They want you to have a great experience.
Various Ethiopian drinks (beer, honey wine, etc.) are available. They also offer very affordable table coffee ceremonies.
Traditional seating is available if you prefer to be more authentic.
Overall quality was outstanding. Thank you for sharing part of your culture and evening with us.
Very awesome experience. Such wonderful hospitality and attention to detail. The food was very good and was fun to eat. The samosas and veggie combo plate were excellent. I am looking forward to my next visit. If you are looking for an authentic experience and unique food, this is the place.
Amazing food! So many flavors. I would recommend the combination platters so you can sample several items. Service was excellent, food was excellent. My first experience with Ethiopian food and I am so glad we came here. We finished our meal with fresh coffee, they roasted their own beans just before we ordered. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Had a lovely dinner here while traveling to Orlando. The staff here were incredible friendly and gracious. The veggie platter for two was great, with many more different dishes on it that you find in this type of platter at most Ethiopian restaurant. Great flavors. On a chilly and rainy night, this place, its atmosphere, and it’s food were all warming and nourishing.

***** (5 stars) I love Ethiopian food, and Selam has some of the best I encountered anywhere. It's great that Orlando now has an Ethiopian restaurant that is open at lunch time!

**** (4 stars) By my count this is the fifth incarnation of this place, and definitely the best. The previous version, The Big Easy, was also good, but didn't last long because of the narrow focus on Cajun food, I guess.
