Dr. Shewmaker is the kind of doctor your kids won’t be scared to go to. He makes the experience as as enjoyable as flying itself. I detest all bad reviews against this man. I had 60 days to renew my FAA first class medical due to some issues with the AME that did mine. I had exceeded the 60 days and he wasn’t able to give me my medical. Dr Shewmaker was not in a any kind of hurry. He sat on the phone for 10-15mins talking to the FAA representative to make sure I was sent my medical on the same day. Please don’t bear false witnesses against such a great man. Keep up the good work Sir.
Dr.Shewmaker was absolutely wonderful and funny! Put my mind at ease with getting my shots and made me and my husband get a good laugh out of it. Would highly recommend and his work was fast!
Dr. Shewmaker is a funny, eccentric man. He greeted my girlfriend and I with a smile and was in the middle of a conversation with a patient where he said the internet says he's a "quack." He took us in early to his office and reviewed my case where he told me I had to go to a special examiner to review my records in which he printed the address and phone number to give to me. He didn't charge me and shook my hand telling me to have a good day. I was in and out in ten minutes. Thanks.
Dr. Shewmaker is excellent! Been seeing him for years, and briefly went to another AME due to a move, but came back because I really enjoyed the experience being under his care. Dr. Shewmaker is thorough, professional, honest, heavily promotes a healthy lifestyle, and has an excellent sense of humor! Highly recommended!
