I visit multiple times a week with my dog and is a def favorite place of mine. If you're lucky, you'll spot albino squirrels!
A great trail along the creek. There is plenty of wildlife to spot, see my photos, including an Alligator at one point - nice and content! They don't eat humans (often!) so nothing to worry about there.
Park behind Hunters Creek School (NOT during school hours though!)
I love this trail great for kids and bikes not much wildlife but lots of birds and lizards that all we really see when we go
Pleasant walk under the power lines through to the Creek area by the school. You can get some really good pics of the water and trees, but that stretch is quite a bit uneven with all the tree roots and low hanging branches. It makes a nice walk for a lazy afternoon but is too short if wanting to have an energetic walk, though some people did pass by who were trail running.
This is a really good trail for a quick hike with a clear trail but it is better suited for bikers, due to the straight pathways. The first part of the trail by the entrance by the creek is shaded under cypress trees, but further inside is mostly under the sun, so unless you are riding with a bike, try not to go too far in if it's really hot outside. Make sure to stay hydrated, the are no restrooms or water fountains close by.
