I think I understand why Dr. Sherman has lots of 5 star AND 1 star reviews. He may appear beligerant to some people because he gets straight to the point and has a strong personality. He is very smart, however, and if you GIVE HIM A CHANCE and continue to see him & have communication with him, you will end up liking him very much. When I first saw him, he had some choice words to describe the pain mgmt plan my previous physician had me on, and I could have been put-off by it. Instead, I kept an open mind and I am glad I did. Dr. Sherman knows so much more than the vast majority of pain specialists out there, and his treatment plan is beginning to work for me after just a month or two. (And I have been in chronic severe pain for 20 yrs.) I feel like I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's not a train, for the first time in two decades. So, hang in there with this doctor and I promise you...you will find a very compassionate and kind man inside.

Dr Sherman is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I have come to trust him fully in managing my debilitating nerve pain and migraines. Life has become more bearable, even enjoyable again. His staff is also helpful, friendly, and kind. If you are looking for excellence in pain management, look no further.

Dr.Sherman's staff is amazing! I have never seen a doctors office run this smoothly. When I go for an appointment my in and out time for refills is under 30 min. When I need time for a procedure or problem I never feel that they are rushing me out.Dr. Sherman does take what he does very seriously and for that reason I feel very comfortable having him treat me.

I have been seeing Dr Sherman for several years. To put it simply, he cares. He has made a huge difference in my every day life. He takes the time to listen and understand my concerns. I have never felt rushed in an appointment. I have built a level of trust and comfort with him that I think is rare with a medical professional.

Every time I leave his office, I feel like I know where things stand, and what the next step should be. Additionally, the office staff are wonderful and friendly. They immediately remember me and greet me my name even if I usually only see them once a month.

I don't think I could work a 40+ hour week, and then have a full life outside of the office, if it weren't for Dr. Sherman's knowledge and care.
