The food was really good! Logan made a great Ok Jorge burrito and was super helpful in navigating the menu! He made my experience memorable and I will definitely be going back
I’m not a frequent gringos goer, but a gentleman by the name of Dan Hureira gave me probably the best customer service I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant of this caliber. He made me feel comfortable with my uncertainty, and walked my through the process. Lo and behold, I couldn’t have been happier with the Quesadilla he made me. And to top it off, a smiley gentleman by the name of Logan exuded such a positive energy while cashing me out. Truly a five star experience!
I’d usually go to the Gringos downtown, but I tried this location on a whim while in the area. I honestly knew this place only for their tacos, but one of the employees (a guy in a Japanese headband, sorry I forgot your name) recommended the pork quesadilla and made it for me. It was super good and this employee was super welcoming. Had a great experience and I will be coming back again sometime!
While I'm really glad they've expanded to East Orlando, my experiences so far have been hit or miss. The first experience was with the roast pork street tacos, which were phenomenal - large portions of meat, the double corn tortillas were tossed on the oiled flat top to get to a point of crispy-but-still-flexible which was delicious, and the overall wait time wasn't very long at all. Everything tasted perfect, and they were some of the best tacos I've ever eaten. On two other visits, though, portions were smaller, service took longer (with and without a line), and the experience wasn't as tasty. I'll still go back to try and chase that first experience because those were some incredible tacos.
