  Stopped here for a hike in the swamp hoping to see some osprey. No birds but numerous sunning turtles. It was an excellent use of the time before we had to be at the airport. Worth the effort if you do this sort of thing and very close to Disney.

  Great escape into the "real" Florida in the middle of so many theme parks. A short easy walk into the woods cuts out the sounds of traffic and you're left with the sounds of birds and animals in the underbrush. In our short visit we happened on an armadillo in the brush, a turtle snacking on a lilypad and an osprey soaring over. The building houses some fun information about the history, flora and fauna of the park.

  I loved the trails! I went on November so it was fresh; it was still warm but quite fresh when you went through the parts that had shade from the pine trees. There was a very cool center that showed cases taxidermy you could encounter such as owls and woodpeckers. There was also a very cool giant tortoise that was incredible to watch. Some of the trails were closed but I still enjoyed it. There is a very long bridge to cross! Cool place. I'll do it again.

  A beautiful and sprawling park with ample trails, the Tibet-Butler is one of my personal favorites. They offer classes for school kids to learn about nature, they maintain the trails very well, they guides are quite nice, the hours are long compared to other trails, and it terminates at a lake. It is supremely relaxing and pleasant to visit. Be aware some trails DO flood after heavy rain and may be inaccessible for upwards of a month but that is just a great excuse to come back. The air conditioned main center is full of fun and educational exhibits to look at and even interact with. All at the cost of free.
