I moved my 90 year old mama to River Terrace Memory Care from independent living when her memory issues made it unsafe for her to live alone. Jeffrey (director) has a HUGE heart and really cares about the residents. He sets the example for staff of how he expects them to treat the residents. Susan (office manager) is very helpful to family members with our myriad of questions, and treats the residents with respect and kindness. The caregivers (too many to mention them all) are gentle, kind and caring with the residents. I must mention Erin and Brianna because they have answered the phone when I’ve called many times, just needing to be assured that mom is doing well. They are so patient and calm, it always puts my mind at ease. The new Life Enrichment Coordinator (Colleen) has some awesome ideas for activities that will be both enjoyable and meaningful to the residents. She and her assistant Emily will be a great team! Emily has such exuberance, energy and willingness to get up and dance whenever the opportunity arises.
In closing, if you want your loved one actually cared ABOUT as well as cared for, this is the right place!

I work with River Terrace Memory Care in the capacity of a Brighton Hospice Consultant and it is such a pleasure to do so. River Terrace provides superior patient care. The leaders are impressive and very professional. The facility is attractive and well maintained. Out of five possible stars I give them five! Congratulations River Terrace Memory Care!

River Terrace has been a wonderful community for our family member. She has gone from feeling isolated and distraught to feeling included, connected, and loved. The staff is absolutely top-notch at communicating with our family member and with us. They take the very best care, and go above and beyond with each of the residence. I cannot say enough about River Terrace. This community has my highest recommendation!

Moving a loved one into memory care is difficult for everyone involved. Our dad has been at River Terrace for a year now. Even with the added obstacles COVID-19 has dumped on us, we feel that my dad’s care is wonderful. The staff are awesome and caring. There are lots of fun activities. Most importantly he is safe and well! We appreciate the environment they’ve created for our dad and the other residents. He had been in two other assisted living facilities prior to River Terrace and the care he is receiving now isn't even comparable...it has exceeded the others an immeasurable amount!!!
