  I go to avant garde academy and I love it . This has been my second year here . Every one is sweet kind and nice. The staff is very friendly and funny . The teachers are amazing . Only one teacher doesn't teach but everyone else is fine . They don't have a real nurse but there is a room with first aid kids and medical supplies. The secretary is technically the nurse. There's a basketball court and a field. The principal is a nice and caring guy. But he extended our ours of school to 4:30 but every Wednesday we get out at 2:30 . He did that because he wanted for us to score good on the FSA . But after all everything is great I feel like a family there . I recommend you to enroll your child into this school

  I've been to this school for 3 years and this is my last year, all I could say is that the staff is super amazing. They interact with the students and they always give great advice to them. The school isn't a "dirty" school like some comments say, it is actually clean and the hallways always look clean. The school has never had any types of animal invasions such as roaches, rats ect, nor holes in the walls. The discipline is awesome due to the leadership class. Of course some students are going to have less discipline than others, but we as students try to help others improve and try to make them as respectful as possible. Some teachers are fun and others are not but that's very common in schools. This is a charter school and we as students and parents choose to be there. Overall the school is a great school. I recommend parents to enroll their kids in this school.
