Fantastic school ms cabral and the rest of the teachers are awesome! My baby has been there two years or more now and Will be leaving this year.. emotional feelings but ms Cabral is an amazing teacher and has prepped my child for the next step, she will be missed by both student and mom.
This Preschool is by far the best!
All the staff are very friendly but very strict when it comes to our children's safety, which is my number 1 priority when leaving my child in someone else's care. He learned so much with Mrs. Cabral - he left her class reading small "step 1 reading" books, and is now so open to meeting new people and interacting with new friends!
The teachers made sure my picky eater paid more attention to eating his lunch than to picking through it which I appreciate soooo much.
The activities done and sent home were relevant to what they were learning in class and adorable enough to display all over my home and office. I can tell the teachers took their time planning and helping our kiddos and it wasn't something rushed.
And my sons favorite - OMG THE WATER DAY DURING THE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!! the one day a week my son woke up before me!
The only thing I disliked is not being able to keep him here for more years!! Thank you Poinciana 247 for all that you guys do!! I know we both will really miss this school and all the staff.
My son went to Poinciana 247 Pre-K from August 2012 to August 2013 and I feel I should take the time and write this to let other parents know how great this school is for toddlers. I found this school while driving in the area and I called them not knowing what to expect since I have never heard of this school at all.
My first phone call to Poinciana 247 Pre-K was very informative and made me want to try them out that I scheduled a walk thru and was provided with all the information that would put a parent at easy to send her child there. In August of 2012 we met the teachers, at first my son 4 years old did not want to talk or even look at the them so I got a little worried but the following Monday he went to school and when I picked him up and asked how was his day his word was “awesome”.
He had his moments in class not listening and doing what most 4 years old toddlers do and the principal requested a meeting with me and we talked about what to do to help him improve and in no time he started improving. This school focuses on teaching students what they will be using once they graduate so If you looking for a school that will treat your child like a baby this is not the school for you. If you are looking for a school they will have graduation and birthday parties for your child this is not the school for you either and they have their reasons for not having parties and I actually understand and agree with it. if you are looking to have your child learn and start becoming a responsible student with discipline this school is definitely for you. The principal and teachers are excellent and I’m very happy that I chose this school and would recommend it 100 percent.
