(April 27, 2018, 10:58 am)Today I went in for a cancer screening and general skin checkup. I saw Dr. Shana Schroeder. She gave me the most thorough screening I've ever had. She took her time and looked at every dark spot on my skin. She ended up lancing three spots (one expected, two unexpected) and sending them off to a lab. She took magnified pictures of each suspicious spot and explained why she was lancing them. But the main reason I'm writing this review is because of the billing. Dr. Schroeder and her assistant, without any question from me, explained how the billing works and made sure to warn me not to pay any lab bills that may be mailed to me, as their office was already charging me for the lab work. This alleviated a huge pet peeve of mine: You go to the doctor's office, and then you end up receiving seemingly random invoices from unknown companies for months after the appointment. You never know whether the bills are sent in error. The fact that she and her great assistant brought this up and warned me really made my day! I couldn't be happier about my visit to Dr. Schroeder! Sorry, I don't know her assistant's name, but she was great too! I don't write many reviews, but I was moved to do so by Dr. Schroeder's great service!

(January 17, 2018, 7:14 pm)I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Gold Coast Dermatology raises the bar of what a great Doctors office should be. Dr Manolakos is highly skilled and compassionate. Listens, doesn’t rush, and makes you completely comfortable, always with a smile. I trust her 100%. Everyone in the office are warm and friendly and makes you feel very welcome and glad to see you. They always make me smile. I have been there many times and will continue. I am so happy I found Gold Coast Dermatology and give my highest recommendations.
