  The fear of learning I may have prostate cancer caused me to begin researching the internet feverishly for getting up to date information on the newest, latest technology on the subject. Dr. Dan Sperling offered up what seemed to be the most logical, common sense solution to verifying with a high resolution 3T guided MRI biopsy. I live 6 hours from his clinic by plane so my decision to travel that distance was a big commitment of time and money. I wasn't an easy sell. However, I was so impressed with the Patient Educator RN Jackie that my skepticism diminished quickly. She was so skilled in her knowledge of the biopsy process and Focal Laser Ablation treatment if needed, that she immediately made me feel taken care of. Dr. Sperling called me himself to answer questions and to introduce himself to me personally. Here's what I will say after the trip and biopsy experience. It was everything promised and more. The facility was first class, clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, especially the nursing staff of whom I spent most of my time. Dr Sperling answered my questions and personally did the procedure along with the assistance of his MRI technician. The procedure took about 45 minutes. There was no down time or surprises. I couldn't be more pleased and I would say to anyone who really wants to get accurate results that Sperling Prostate Center is the best.

  A state of the art facility with a wide-bore 3T MRI machine for multiparametric prostate diagnostics and (should it be needed) in-bore precision biopsy and other procedures. I was very happy with the quality of medical care and attentiveness (Dr. Sperling, MRI technician Charly, RN Jackie). Less so with the receptionist not responding to phone calls and an online request. Because of the medical care quality, I rate this 5 stars.

  After being diagnosed with prostate cancer at 54 years old, and faced with the two options of radiation and radical prostatectomy, I was at my wit's end deciding which of the two would have the least side effects. I was told it is literally a "roll of the dice" and no one could predict what the side effects would be after treatment.
  
  Then one Sunday morning I did a simple Google search for alternative prostate cancer treatments and Dr. Sperling and Focal Laser Ablation came up immediately! I could not believe what I was reading, I could not wait until the next day to call and see if I was a candidate.
  
  Dr. Sperling reviewed my MRI and told me he believes he could cure me with little to no side effects! It was unbelievable! It was like life was handed back to me!
  
  Now it has been over 2 weeks since the procedure and I am doing great! No incontinence, no impotence, and no pain. Dr. Sperling turned a nightmare into laughs, not only for me but potentially for almost all men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
  
  I've been treated like royalty through the whole process by everyone at the Center. And the next follow-up is not for 6 months, just an MRI to see if there is a recurrence.
  
  If you have prostate cancer don't have any treatment done until you speak with Dr. Sperling. There are others doing Ablation around the country but none have the experience that Dr. Sperling has. Simply a miracle!
