Any place with with a lighthouse has to have some rich history. Climb to the top for amazing views and a nice Florida breeze. Spend some time on the property to get all the benefits. Worth a visit.
A wonderful old lighthouse chock-full of history since its building and of the surrounding land. Terrific photographic opportunities abound throughout this entire area. The climb in the stairs to the top is not hard at all, but very steep. This is definitely a must visit. Highly recommend!
I have been to Jupiter quite a few times but this is the first time I visit the signature symbol of Jupiter. The surrounding area/park is beautiful,
and ticket to the lighthouse can be purchased at the gift shop which has a lot of cute souvenirs to bring home! The lighthouse has about 100-ish inclined stairs, each 25 stairs has a small rest area for you to rest and look over the view before continuing. It's a good exercise and once you get on top of it, the lighthouse looks over an amazing view, fresh air and breezy for hot sunny day. After that you can cool down in the museums (there is one museum on the left side after you get down from the lighthouse, one on the way going out to the gift shop and one next to the gift shop). Employees are very friendly and helpful as well.
The views are worth the hot climb up to the top of this narrow lighthouse. The tree at the base of this lighthouse is like nothing I have ever seen in my life. It is an amazing tree and creates great shade over the seating area in case you have to wait to climb. The grounds and museum are very nice too. The gift shop is adorable. The girl with the lighthouse tattoo was the sweetest and clearly understood and surpassed my own love of lighthouses. Go check out this beauty and help support and keep this treasure operating for years to come. ???? if you took the time to read my entire review and found it helpful, please like it and give it a thumbs up. Thanks ✌
Great place to visit! The museum is pretty cool to look through. Staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable. Found out that most of the people working there are volunteers! I wish I could remember their names! So much to see and learn about! Great photo opportunities and plenty of parking. We went right when they opened to have plenty of space and time to take photos. Highly recommend making a stop here if you are into lighthouses. It is a completely operational lighthouse still used today!
