I broke one of my Fasteners. And they gave me a new one as a courtesy. So happy with the cooler and so happy to have a Florida product
The folks at Engel are super helpful. You can purchase at the distribution center. Coolers are well made and not the quantity of a Yeti, but much lighter in weight and a far lower price point.

old review - Contacted warranty department about my tumbler sweating all over the place and also provided pictures. I was informed there is absolutely nothing they could do and their 'hands are tied.' This is 2 of 3 items we purchased that failed to live up to their hype. The backpack cooler we bought one of the clips broke and then the liner ripped and it leaked all over our car. When we contacted warranty services we were told we received the last of the backpack coolers with the old style clip that were known to break. I cannot figure out why a reputable company would sell a known faulty item. When we asked for a replacement cooler we were told they are out of stock. Completely disappointed. Will NEVER purchase another Engel product and will NEVER recommend them to anyone.
New Review - so after submitting this review I saw the response to it as well as received an email from the VP Rob Bowie. Apparently all warranty claims are sent to the VP's desk for review. Basically Rob said we screwed up and he apologized for the staff's response. It is a learning curve when you hire new people and they have grown so fast some of their people are still very new and need to learn to resolve an issue without turning people away.
He asked for a mailing address and sent me a replacement plus other items. The next day my glasses arrived. A few days later my backpack cooler arrived. I also received a hand written note from Rob.
It is this kind of response that saves a company. They are the original company when it comes to this style of camping/outdoor gear. I am pleased to say I will continue to support this company.
