“Carol @ Barefoot yoga, was just wonderful wonderful! As soon as we spoke on my first visit there, besides feeling her serenity made me feel very comfortable and assured me I would be able to participate with class and would show me different moves if unable to do what she was doing. as I have some back and issues. She explained to me her classes were not like the Power yoga classes that seem to be more of an an exercise class then yoga.(something I recently experienced elsewhere ). If I remember correctly she has over 15 years experience and it definitely became apparent when I explained my physical liabilities, and during the class. Even after class she showed me moves I may want to do at home, and that would be beneficial to me. I felt she is a truly caring and concerned instructor/individual. I also found out she has classes on the beach, I am definitely looking forward to trying also and cannot wait until my next class @ barefoot yoga, I highly recommend, and found her pricing is the same or better then the other facilities in this area, besides the fact knowing I am not dealing with a newly licensed instructor! As with back and neck problems, I need to be careful. As many, instructors in this area are newly trained, and I could end up hurting myself more if not showed the correct postures.
