  A cute little library with an open feeling despite its small size, offering free wi-fi and computer access. Not a huge selection, but you can request titles from all over the county and be notified when they're ready.

  Neighborhood library. Not a huge selection of books, but you can order books online or at the front desk. There are a good number of movies for adults and children. If you don't see what you're looking for, you can order them as well. The children's section is rather small, but there's rarely a lot of children there at the same time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, there is a picnic area on the side of the library and a playground for children. As well as a water park, but the water park only takes reservations. You can bring your family to the library, then have a picnic afterwards. There are at least five picnic tables under the shade, which makes eating or sitting very comfortable. That's an addition to the library that makes it one of Pahokee's best attractions.

  I know. I know. The very concept of mentioning books and Pahokee in the same sentence seems a bit oxymoronic. Actually a good, but obviously underused place. Many of the locals would benefit from spending more time here than the watering holes.

  This is a great library! It is clean and well stocked with books, movies and even has activities for children.
