Dr. Montesano is so full of life and excitement for his field of expertise that it is contagious. I could not help but to get excited by the information he was sharing with me regarding spine health, better methods for healing and new procedures that may be of more benefit. I feel lucky to be in the care of someone who is always learning and leading the way in their specialty.
Dr. Montesano is so highly trained and qualified to perform even the most intricate, delicate lumbar or cervical spine surgeries, yet he is also so conservative in his approach - always considering all non-surgical options first. In my case, it was something as simple as losing 20 lbs. and getting on a regular exercise regimen. Maybe not so simple, but a clear motivation for avoiding surgery of any kind! Now, not only is my back a lot better, but I'm certainly looking a lot better, too!
