I did not accept being told after you hit a certain age all your symptoms are just normal (weight gain, joint pain, no sleep, hot flashes, mood swings and reoccurring Infections), by my primary doctor and gynecologist. They wanted to make the symptoms feel better with medications.
I did my research and found Nourish and Nurture to provide the answers I needed. I used to work in the medical field so I have seen it all. Unlike the other doctors who go straight to meds they went straight to figuring out my diet, exercise and water intake. They started with labs and actually read and interpreted them to find the root of my symptoms. Then we prepared a plan.
I have made some changes in my lifestyle and have lost 20 lbs, hot flashes have stopped, sleeping 4-6 hours instead of 1-2 hours. I can breathe. I have energy. My joint pains are less. The inflammation has also subsided...All without medications.
I do not have insurance so for me the money I saved and used for this was an investment in my future. I do not want to have a pacemaker like my mother or be on medications like my family members and friends my age.
This is not for you if you are not willing to make changes (with guidance) in your life. You truly need to invest in yourself if not for you for your family. I appreciate the staff for their support. Dr. Ashley for her knowledge and straight forward approach.

I started going to Nourish and Nurture over a year ago due to chronic sinusitis and the whole team has helped me bring inflammation down and feel my best through diet changes, lifestyle changes and various modalities to assist. I feel their expertise was able to treat my whole self and see how different areas of my health and/or body where affecting other areas of my body. After detox and consistency I feel great.
