Frenchy's Rockaway Grill

I recently took my family to Frenchy's Rockaway Grill in Clearwater, Florida, for a sunset dinner, and we had an amazing experience. The restaurant is situated right on the beach, offering stunning waterfront views and a relaxing atmosphere.

We started with the "Super Grouper" sandwich, which was loaded with fresh fish and delicious toppings. We ate here with our 14-month-old and we ordered chicken fingers off the kids menu, crab rangoons for an app, husband got a surf and turf with steak and shrimp, and I got the tropical walnut chicken salad. All was good except my husband's steak was well done and he asked for medium rare. Our server was great and the atmosphere is very fitting for a beach vacation. It's a nice location right on the beach!

After a pleasant morning at the beach, we went to Frenchy's to have lunch. The fries with crab meat were so good: I never thought about this combination and it was real crab meat. Delicious! I had a super green salad with shrimp. It was good, but I wish it was less citric. But that is a matter of taste, some people like that. Overall, my experience was amazing and staff was great! Will come back!

Frenchy's is always good food! I had the shrimp basket with fries and slaw. Also had fried calamari app. Both were delicious. Service was good, and I'd say the prices were OK for what you get, but definitely not what I'd consider a great value. You are paying a premium for being right on the water and for the atmosphere. But it's good and I'll definitely be back for an occasional treat.

We were seated on the patio overlooking the beach. Started off with a very creative appetizer, the garlic french fries topped with crab. Had the grilled grouper sandwich and Cali Tacos. If you like allot of spice, the Cali Tacos are a good choice. The fish was fresh and tasty. Customer service was excellent as well. Oh, if you like margaritas, try the coconut margarita, you'll be glad you did.
