I was referred to Dr. Moreno by my primary physician. My physical therapist also highly recommended him. Six months earlier, I had a spine surgery, however, was still experiencing pain that prevented me from walking or standing without pain. Dr. Moreno practices a conservative, common sense approach. He discussed with me all possibilities. He recommended nonsurgical options initially prior to my fusion surgery. Dr. Moreno and his staff are very professional. Their goal is clearly to get you back to a pain free productive life.

I received a referral to Dr. Moreno from a Spine Clinic that was unable to perform the required procedure outpatient. I was advised by them that Dr. Moreno was the best spine Doctor in the state. Even though we live North of Orlando and his practice is in Clearwater, this ended up being a blessing in disguise. IMO Dr. Moreno is a remarkable surgeon and the relief after 3 weeks is already presenting itself. I am so grateful for what he has done and I am looking forward to golf in February!

Dr. Moreno recently performed my lumbar fusion. My results have been very positive. My pain is gone and i have had no complications from my surgery. Recovery is going very well. Dr. Moreno explained everything and answered all my questions along with alleviating all my fears re surgery. The office staff have been beyond helpful. About 6 months ago my adult daughter needed spinal surgery. In asking around I found that the man I bought my house from and both neighbors to the left and right had all undergone spinal surgery and all used Dr. Moreno and swore they would never go to anyone else. My daughter had her surgery and was immediately pain free. I needed a laminectomy with spinal fusion on L3-L4 L4-L5. I was in extreme pain for 7 months only able to sleep 20 minutes at a time in a recliner. Dr. Moreno fully explained all my options and took time to answer all my questions. Being 280 lbs and 72 years old, he explained that recovery might be tougher than others. My research indicated the same thing and I read nothing but horror stories online. I could not walk without assistance and was in a level 9 pain up to the surgery. The surgery took 6 hours. After the surgery the "stabbing" pain down my leg was gone and there was only mild discomfort. By day 3 I could walk around the room with minimal discomfort. On day 4 I was discharged home. I took 2 Tylenol that day and did not need any pain medication. That was the last time I took anything for pain. At 2 weeks out I was sleeping through the night in bed (which I had not done in 8 months). I was walking unassisted around the block a couple of times a day with absolutely no pain or discomfort and have remained that way. There is no way I could ever repay Dr Moreno (and his staff) for returning the quality of my life back to me. From start to finish the process has been nothing short of miraculous (and I am not lent to exaggerations). Based on my and my daughter's experiences as well as others I have talked to, there is no one else to consider trusting in this field. Again, Dr. Moreno, thank you for my life back.

I have been seeing Dr. Moreno as an adult scoliosis patients for 10 years. I recently needed a cervical discectomy and fusion for a severely herniated disc. Dr. Moreno was confident in my treatment plan and I felt 100% at ease with his recommendation for surgery. His staff was efficient and detailed in getting everything squared away leading up to my procedure which went smoothly! My recovery has been as expected and straight forward, with all of my questions and concerns answered in a timely manner.
