I have been a patient of Dr. Vidya Sagar since 2013. He is a fantastic doctor. and one of the best I've ever had. I'm 67 years old and have had many doctors in my life for various reasons, so I know a really good doctor when I encounter one. Dr. Sagar fits that description in every way. He is very caring, an expert in his field (nephrology) and I trust him completely. I highly recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Sagar has been my Nephrologist almost since he opened Gulf Breeze Kidney Center. He and his staff are always genuinely polite, competent, and professional.I came to him as a complex patient with a long term history of hypertension with only one functioning kidney already on the slippery slope to ESRD. As I entered Stage 3 Renal Failure,Dr. Sagar advised me to have a Dialysis fistula created in case my slow almost predictable decline were to suddenly change, and it did.less than 8 weeks after my surgery I was in complete Kidney failure and on Dialysis, other specialists' had told me it would probable be a year or more before I would be in stage 5 failure, his foresight and caution prevented the need for the considerably more dangerous tunneling catheter placement and Port.My Dialysis experience was supervised by him in an almost personal way, I never felt like I was ' just another patient'.He encouraged me to not limit my choice of possible Transplant Program Hospitals. In the end I recieved my Kidney transplant at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.Dr Sagar is still my nephrologist ,coordinating and supervising my progress.I am doing very well,my new kidney is working perfectly,I have gone back to school at St. Petersburg College at age 60, I have complete faith and confidence in him, earned by my journey in his care to this point in my life and my future.
