So excited that the restaurant is open! The new owners did a great job renovating the inn and new restaurant, the Peninsula. I happened to visit during their happy hour and the food and drinks did not disappoint. All the staff is friendly and upbeat. Monica and Maya were stellar with answering all my questions about the new restaurant and menu. The bartender, Chi did an amazing job making my classic daiquiri and paloma. The drinks were strong and handcrafted. I also had the ceviche as an appetizer and I loved the unique flair with the popcorn. So yummy and different!
Really enjoyed my stay. Off season and discounted as they are doing some remodeling of the restaurant I wasn't expecting much. What I got was exactly the opposite. The manager put forth every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and spacious in a 118 year old building way. I'm not sure what people complaining about room size were expecting. It's in the heart of a very nice shopping and entertainment district with everything I needed in short walking distance. Breakfast was delicious with a quiet porch to eat it outside. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
This was one of the best historic hotels I have been to, with the original elevator and interior features. The rooms were well furnished and everything was clean with great amenities. The included breakfast was definitely a highlight and I loved the proximity within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and beach. Free parking is also a great perk! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique stay!
Had a great stay here, very nice proprietors and the breakfast is amazing! They served the best omelettes and scones I've ever had. The inn is located in a small business area so its easy to walk to dinner and bars. The room was spacious and uniquely decorated. The AC is a little noisy and the bed felt a bit old and springy but overall it was a good value. The dedicated parking lot in the back is awesome too, it would've been impossible to street park on the weekend.
