Vanessa and Debra in admissions are super great at what they do. They make transitioning to skilled nursing smoothe and are very communicative. 10/10 I would recommend them again and again!
My mom is currently at Manor Care and the care has wonderful. Vanessa, the individual in charge of admitting, was wonderful to work with and has made sure on a regular basis that all of my moms needs have been met. The therapy staff is top notch and if one of the main reasons we come back. They work very hard to make patients stronger and independent. They have taken excellent care of my mom despite dealing with Covid protocols and this tough environment we are dealing with. I would recommend this facility for anyone needing a skilled nursing facility.
Very positive experience- my therapists were so knowledgeable to my condition supportive and instructional. I progressed faster than I anticipated Staff always responded in a timely manner and sensitive to my pain level
Not having much of an appetite the meals were adequate My room was a private room which provided me privacy Housekeeping did a fine job cleaning I am very grateful to manor care for my excellent care and positive experience
My wife suffered an undefined attack on her brain on June 18, 2020, that left her with memory and mobility problems. In November 2020, she was transferred from therapy to Long-Term Care. At that time, she was mostly confined to her bed. Today she can walk, talk, feed herself, and use the bathroom alone. And she came home permanently.
This remarkable medical progress could not have happened without the expertise of Denise and Fay. They pushed to get over her fears of standing, walking, and using the wheelchair. Step by step, they worked with my wife to recover her mobility. She now has an opportunity to live her life in her home. This is a success story for which all of ManorCare should be proud.
The keys to this success story are Denise and Fay. But there were many others who played a role in inspiring my wife to progress. Katina was particularly helpful. Skylar and all the other West Wing Staff played important roles.
Frances at the Front Desk noticed my wife liked to read, brought in some books, and inspired her to continue to improve. Sue set up daily visits; Lisa involved my wife in activities, Jenna answered my dumb questions; Sui explained how billing worked; Haley, Judy, and Umeko, along with Frances and Sue helped keep the Front Desk functioning efficiently. Mike built a chair. Vanessa helped administratively.
And there are countless others, who helped my wife recover her life. Thanks to one and all, including all those whose names escape me. And a special thank you for the expertise and professionalism demonstrated by Denise and Fay. I highly recommend ManorCare Palm Harbor.
My wife ended at the hospital and needed rehab. She had previously gone to Manor Care Palm Harbor and had great care two years prior.I knew that’s where I wanted her to go again. This experience is as great as the first even with COVID restrictions. All the staff, from nursing, therapy, housekeeping, dietary and administration have given great care and are just so compassionate and attentive with all her needs. Myself and my wife appreciate all of what Manor Care Palm Harbor has done.
